Swimming with Uncle Michael and Aunt Laura

We ended our east coast vacation with a few days swimming in Michael and Laura's pool as well as  the Atlantic ocean. Our bodies pretty much touched every type of body of water. We can't complain about that.

By the end of this trip, we just wanted to lounge around.

A big THANK YOU to all of my family members for hosting our loud, messy, energetic, playful family for two weeks. Big Love to you all!

Adventures of Aunt Kat and Foxtrot

"Who?", you may ask is Aunt Kat. She is my beautiful, compassionate, driven, brilliant sister. And I got to spend some quality time her and her creative, loving, easygoing husband.

We went to the Finger Lake Region and couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable week.

We went sailing!!

Foxtrot taught Uncle Gid how to drive.

We sat in the woods.

We took our stuffed animals for walks.

We visited some beautiful gorges.

We also worked on our "fierce" face.

We "eased into the day,"...

and it always closed with a grand bang finish.

We rested,

played,

and celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary.

Someone had a birthday

and it wasn't Lainie.

It was Tango!! She turned the big O-N-E!

And, like it was no big deal, she decided to

WALK!!

Happy Birthday, baby girl!

And now,

Eat CAKE!

Tango, we are so very thankful for you. Your life is full of light and your smile is so bright.

East Coast Vacation - Lainie and Dzadzie Edition

My parents live in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. It was a real treat to spend a whole week with them. Tango and Foxtrot  made many beautiful memories with their grandparents while we swam in the stream everyday and frolicked on the pristine grass.

Woah! The water was COLD.

But it was also quiet.

A perfect place for exploring.

Dzadzie was so excited for the kids that he mowed each one their own 'grassway' through the fields: "Finnegan's Freeway" and "Teddy's Turnpike."

After long days of playing, we took naps in the cool breeze.

I also got to see these lovely ladies and celebrate their recent adventures, husbands, and babies.

Dzadzie taught some of us new golfers a few tricks.

We trooped around all the fabulous old buildings.

And spent quite a few hours hanging around the pond.

We had lots of time to sit and learn.

We reached all new heights.

Thank you. . .

for allowing our 4-year-old to be a goofball . . .

and our 1-year-old to to melt your hearts.
